RAYMOND CHEN INDUSTRIES LIMITED (RCIL) began its remarkable journey on January 17, 2013, in Abuja, Nigeria with RC Number 1091154 and a registered share capital of five million Naira (N5,000,000.00) Only. Founded by Raymond Cruz Chen, our Managing Director, and Chief Executive Officer, RCIL was rooted in a legacy of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Focusing on import and export trade and short-term supply contracts, during its early years, there was never any doubt that RCIL was borne with big dreams in mind as evident in the scope of the Articles of Association.
Swift was our growth that within just 3 years of our existence, we increased our share capital to ten million Naira (N10,000,000.00) Only for us to handle bigger projects.
In the subsequent years, RCIL experienced a lot of highs and lows, which served as lessons for each successive endeavour. Projects grew larger as we gained experience and trust. This time, our client base grew to include not only private businessmen but also the State and Federal government of Nigeria.
To cope with the number of projects we had in different sectors of the economy, RCIL began to branch out via subsidiaries and partnerships. During this time, Agribooth and Rayanto were borne.
These subsidiaries marked the first step for RCIL into a modern-day business where Information Technology met with the Agriculture and Real Estate Development sector. Our solutions were and still are unique, however, unfavourable conditions forced us to shelve the subsidiaries until the time was right.
